Quality and durability are central to the philosophy of ROX & OAK Leather Goods.
Our products are made using full-grain vegetable-tanned leather, which naturally evolves and develops character over time.
At ROX & OAK Leather Goods, each piece is crafted patiently by hand, using carefully selected vegetable-tanned leather and time-honored techniques. These materials and methods come together to create products designed not just to serve a purpose, but to endure for years.
With regular use, the leather will develop a rich patina — deepening in tone, softening in feel, and gaining a character that is uniquely yours. This natural evolution is a reflection of the journey you share with it.
To preserve its beauty and ensure lasting performance, full-grain vegetable-tanned leather requires mindful care. Unlike synthetic materials, it responds to its environment and benefits from occasional conditioning and protection.
Much like a fine pair of leather shoes, your ROX & OAK wallets, bags, and small leather goods will reward proper care by becoming more beautiful with time.
It is not just maintenance — it is part of the relationship between you and something made to last.
1. Product Care Guidelines
Our products are made using high-quality leather, hardware, and craftsmanship. To maintain longevity:
- Leather Care
- Keep the product away from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, moisture, or heat.
- Clean with a soft, dry cloth regularly to remove dust.
- For deeper cleaning, use leather-friendly conditioners sparingly—avoid harsh chemicals or alcohol-based cleaners.
- Store in a cool, dry place inside the provided dust bag when not in use.
- Handling & Storage
- Avoid overloading bags or wallets as it may stretch or damage the leather.
- Keep away from pens, markers, liquids, oils, or cosmetics that may cause stains.
- Do not wash or immerse leather items in water.
- Hardware & Stitching
- Wipe metal components gently to prevent tarnishing.
- Do not pull or force zippers; operate carefully to ensure lifespan.
- If stitching loosens due to wear, avoid further strain and contact our support team.
- Weather Protection
- Leather can react to rain or humidity—wipe moisture immediately with a soft cloth.
- Use water-repellent sprays only if recommended for your specific leather type.
